Molly Bugeja is a dynamic and expressive triple threat performer, who brings emotional intelligence, versatility and fearlessness to her work across musical theatre, theatre and physical performance.

Proudly hailing from Dharug Land in Western Sydney, Molly trained at A-Live Performing Arts Centre and Village Performing Arts Centre and is a graduate of the prestigious Talent Development Project (TDP).

Molly made her professional theatre debut as Anybodys in West Side Story in the international touring production produced by Opera Australia, GWB Entertainment and BB Group. Her breakout performance earned her a GLUG Award for Most Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical, marking her as an exciting new talent in Australian musical theatre. She later reprised the role to critical acclaim, most recently in Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour’s production of West Side Story in 2024.

Her theatre credits also include Dance Captain and Swing on A Chorus Line for Darlinghurst Theatre Company, and ensemble in the Australian touring production of Mary Poppins (Michael Cassel Group). Molly also appeared as Beth March in Little Women at the Hayes Theatre for JRP Australia, further showcasing her range as a dramatic actor/singer.

Molly is a highly skilled physical performer who has trained extensively in circus and ballet-based pas de deux under the guidance of Allie Gunton. Specialising in a range of aerial and equilibristic disciplines, including silks, lyra, and the bespoke, ground-based “Teardrop” apparatus, Molly brings a rare combination of strength, artistry and storytelling to her physical work.

Her screen credits include national campaigns for Telstra, Bonds, Dulux and Vinnies.

Alongside her performing career, Molly is a respected emerging creative collaborator. She served as Offstage Swing and Dance Captain for Hadestown (Opera Australia) and began her creative journey writing and performing her own original cabaret, Baby Talk, establishing herself as a writer, director and producer with a distinctive voice.

Most recently, Molly performed in the ensemble and as understudy to Linda Mason in Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn (Well Done Creative) for the 2025 Christmas season. She began 2026 performing in Hansel and Gretel at the Sydney Opera House, continuing to build a diverse body of work across Australia’s leading stages.
